Santa
Today we went downtown and waited (for an hour and a half!) outside in the longest line ever, to see Santa. Drew and Phoebe had their lists ready. This was the nicest Santa we have ever visited, by a long shot. He was kind and thoughtful and even convinced Hadley to talk to him… a big feat considering how uncertain she is of strange men. I couldn’t get the best shot of all of them because his house was pretty small, but it will do. Hadley was quite distraught on the way home though, she realized she had forgotten to ask for an American girl doll, and she begged to go back. Phoebe also forgot to ask for Julie so we decided we would write a letter instead of waiting again. But, they are not getting American girl dolls this year… maybe for their birthdays. I would love to take them to one of the stores one day, that would be a lot of fun.. We have a busy week with the festival of trains next week and swim lessons every day until Friday. We were lucky enough to get a last minute spot with Jim. Hadley is even starting to learn a little, she is putting her eyes in and jumping (with all her might!) into my arms. Fun times.

That first picture of Phoebe holding Hadley is so beautiful, Megan. Her eyes are stunning and I love her expression. . . lovely sister love.
Have fun with Jim this week! Sounds like a blast!
Adorable, the children are gorgeous and Santa has the look of a very special king of guy. Merry Christmas to you all! Will you be out this way this winter?
Yes Lisa! We will be out in March again, we would love to connect. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season, happy new year!
