Racer ready

Today we had a beautiful day for racing. It was sunny and not too cold. Drew and Phoebe both had a great time.
Drew loves GS, it is his best race. I was very excited to be there to see him. It did involve me having to hike a long way uphill in the snow with Haddie on my back, but it was definitely worth it!
Phoebe won her very first trophy today. She was second out of all the girls in the 5/6 age range. Tomorrow there is another invitational out at Crystal. I will stay home with Hadley and cook and catch up on laundry.
I am so happy both Drew and Phoebe like to ski. It provides such great exercise and time with friends. It also helps January and February fly by. I am shocked that next weekend is the last race for the season!

What a great photo of Phoebe!!(did you happen to take one with the camera too?) That is a major trophy! Wow! It is wonderful they like to ski. Fun, and so good for them to be outdoors too!
